All staff are required to participate in a scheduled fire safety training session or evacuation drill at their respective CCA site as part of our mandatory annual Work Health and Safety (WHS) compliance requirements.

This training is delivered by a qualified external fire safety provider to ensure standardised, site-relevant, and up-to-date emergency preparedness practices.

Purpose of Training

This training ensures that all team members are equipped with the knowledge and practical skills to:

• Respond confidently during fire or emergency events

• Ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and colleagues

• Support compliance with WHS legislation
